BIO

LIZARDKINGJR (b. 1989) is an imaginative painter, illustrator, and designer who likes to work with an array of mediums. Paleontology, politics, surrealism, and mythology all influence his work. He has received a Graphic Design Specialization certificate from California Institute of the Arts and an Associate of Arts degree from San Diego City College where he worked as an Assistant Art Director for the semester musical of "Zombie Prom".  His work has been exhibited in numerous art shows at school, bars and coffee shops in San Diego California. One of his favorite projects was designing and hand-painting a 4 ft. bottle for Absolut Vodka's OUTrageous cocktail which celebrated the LGBTQ community with 30 years of going out and coming out. He is currently living and working in Boston, MA where his work has been published in Boston Spirit Magazine and The Paper Napkin. His last major creative project before the pandemic was designing and building the set for the musical “Fresh Fruit Is Born Again”.
